The Importance of Printing your photos

Today I did a project involving the passing of someones dear friend. She asked us to take her photo, and add text about the wonderful things she did in her life and combine it into an 11×14 composite that she could give the family to always remember her by. Its a beautiful piece of art with memories that all family members will be able to share. In this day and age of cell phone cameras and facebook albums, sometimes we forget how wonderful it is to sit around a kitchen table with a box of old photos, or sitting on the couch with an album and your grand-kids telling them how their parents grew up. By creating treasures like these that won’t be lost if your computer crashes or if your cellphone is lost they’ll be safely tucked away on a bookshelf or in a box just waiting for someone to come open them up and hear the family story. So in short, don’t forget to print your pictures they will become someones treasured memories!

We’ve been super busy scanning slides to DVD .Our basic scan from slide or transparency is at 2700 dpi and a jpeg is generated. These jpeg image files can be shown on your computer as a slide show using your computer software or the images can be printed for viewing, uploaded to Facebook or other online sites or even incorporated into a photobook. These photobooks of your vintage slide images are a wonderful gift and keepsake. Photobook software is available on our site at http://motophotohamden.com/photo-books.html We are always available in store to go over the book building software with you and answer questions. We also are able to compile the slides into what we call a video DVD – this compilation or show features your slides with transitional effects from one to another. This video is playable on your DVD player for TV viewing or on your computer. Easy listening music is included on this show but many customers also choose specific music that is meaningful to their family and friends.
